FX Luminaire fixtures use integrated PowerBoard LED modules. The board inside determines both how bright the light is and how much smart control your Luxor system can deliver — from basic zoning all the way to full 30,000+ color scenes.
Luxor delivers its full feature set only when paired with FX ZD/ZDC equipped fixtures or official ZD MR-16 lamps.

Luxor ZDC systems happily run a mix of standard, ZD, and ZDC fixtures. Color-capable fixtures must be grouped separately from white-only fixtures for proper programming (our designers handle this). Non-color fixtures will still zone and dim (if ZD) beautifully.
FX Luminaire PowerBoard Integrated LED fixtures with ZD or ZDC technology. Purpose-built for Luxor. ZD boards deliver zoning + smooth dimming. ZDC boards add full color. This is the cleanest, highest-performance solution and our strong default recommendation.
ZD MR-16 LED Lamps — High-quality, fully potted GU5.3 base lamps that bring Luxor zoning and dimming to virtually any existing MR-16 fixture (including many non-FX brands). Multiple beam angles and color temps (2700K–4000K). Ideal for preserving existing fixtures while adding smart control. (Color/ZDC MR-16 not available.)
Many current FX Luminaire fixtures can be upgraded in the field with ZD or ZDC board kits (ZDCKIT series), bringing them into the Luxor ecosystem without full replacement. Popular for clients who already own FX fixtures but want smart control or color later. 3/6/9 LED housings are generally upgradable to ZDC.
